Gae and her husband, Albert, moved to Huntsville from Indiana in July of 2015 from Indiana.  They are currently living in a rental property, which has a number of minor structural issues.  However, the biggest concern is accessibility.  Albert, who is disabled due to a stroke, is unable to move around the home without great difficulty.  The family also needs a bathroom that is handicapped accessible.

They love this city and especially the weather. They moved here to be closer to their three adult children and two grandsons. Being in such close proximity to and having the support of their children has meant the world to them. Now, finalizing the American Dream of Homeownership is the only thing missing in our lives.

In February of this year, Gae reached a numerical milestone in commemorating her Birthday. She is so excited to know that next year, she will be celebrating it in her very first home. She is beyond appreciative of this opportunity and cannot thank Habitat enough for making our dreams come true!

Help us build for Gae and Albert with a donation to her home building efforts.  Your tax-deductible donation will help the Williams and other families in need of housing have an opportunity to have a safe and decent home.  Click here to donate.
